About Us

Hi, I’m Kd Sivanath.

If you’ve ever stood in front of your tank, excited one night… and disappointed the next morning — you’re not alone. I’ve been there too.

I didn’t start fish breeding as a business or anything serious. It began at home, simply as a hobby. Just something I enjoyed doing in my free time. Watching fish, learning their behavior, trying to understand what works and what doesn’t — it slowly turned into something much bigger.

Over time, I started breeding guppies, betta fish, and goldfish. Some batches went really well. Others… didn’t. And those failures taught me more than anything else.

One of my biggest turning points came when I got the chance to learn through government training programs. That experience helped me understand fish breeding in a more structured and practical way — not just guessing, but actually knowing why things work.

That’s really why this website exists.

I created kdsiva.com to share what I’ve learned — not theory, not complicated jargon, but real, practical knowledge that actually works in a home setup.

Most of the content here is based on personal experience. The mistakes, the small wins, the lessons that don’t always get talked about. If you’re just starting out, or even if you’ve been trying fish breeding for a while but struggling to get results, this site is built for you.

My focus is simple:

  • Help beginners understand fish breeding the right way
  • Show low-cost, practical setups that actually work
  • Share step-by-step guides you can follow without confusion

I try to keep things clear and honest. Some topics are explained with simple step-by-step guides. Others are shared through real stories. And when needed, I go a bit deeper to explain the science behind it — but always in a way that makes sense.

What makes this site different is that I don’t just repeat information. I share what I’ve actually tested. What failed. What worked. And what I would do differently if I had to start again.

This isn’t just a website — it’s something I’m building over time.

I’m also planning to expand into a YouTube channel and a Facebook page, so it becomes easier to learn visually and stay connected.

If you have questions, you can always reach out through the contact page or leave a comment under any article. I read them, and I do my best to help with real solutions — not generic answers.

And if you’re finding the content useful, you can:

At the end of the day, fish breeding isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about learning, adjusting, and improving — one batch at a time.
